Dear God

I come to you at this time,
to pray for what I've done.
To praise you, to thank you,
for everything good under the sun.

I ask for forgiveness,
and ask for your blessing.
Please watch over me during the day,
and while I am resting.

You are so loving,
you are so great.
Without you I'd be lost,
I wouldn't know my way.

Your friendship is so precious,
it's why these words I pen.
I love you and need you in my life,
and I ask this through Jesus Christ,
